Nicole’s Dress is Gone.
The postal service lost it.

October 21st, 2009Cake!
October 21st, 2009This actually has nothing to do with my post above. Although Nicole found this cake over the weekend, and I really like it. There’s no way she would ever allow it to be the main wedding cake, but it would be an awesome Groom’s cake. It would definitely up my zombie rage rep.
Enjoy!

Welcome to Class
September 22nd, 2009On Saturday I began writing a list of lessons that I have learned, or I’ve seen Nicole learn, throughout this wedding planning process. I initially started the list as a single blog, however the longer I wrote on this list the more I decided each lesson should be a separate blog post. These lessons will be the theme of my blog for the next less than two months. That’s because there are now less than two months until Nicole and I are wed.
So please tune in over the next few weeks to witness the unfolding of the following topics:
- As a Bride, you learn who your friends are.
- As a Bride, you learn that someone always has something to say.
- Never underestimate the power of alcohol or nicotine.
- As a Groom, your ideas are often wonky, no matter what.
- Brides and Grooms cannot wear their hearts on their sleeves.
- Real people pay other people to take blurry pictures of them.
These are the lessons I have for now. I will hopefully add more as time goes on since these will only get us through the first few weeks of writing. I’ll be back on Thursday with the first lesson written for your enjoyment. Please comment on these particular articles, because the discussion could become pretty great.
